Volunteer Opportunities

Amos House is always looking for volunteers to share their talents with us.  Whether serving a hot meal in our soup kitchen, helping to create a job or internship opportunity, or providing us with outside professional services—Amos House needs you!

Dining Hall
Year-round volunteers are needed to assist our staff in the Amos House dining hall. Our breakfast shift is 6:30 AM to 8:30 AM and lunch shift 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. No experience is required—just a willingness to serve others and have fun with a terrific work crew. For safety's sake, law requires that dining hall volunteers be at least 14 years old. Internship and Job Hosts
We welcome internship and job opportunities created by culinary professionals and contractors or builders for students and graduates of our ACE culinary and ACT carpentry training programs.

Professional Services
Like Dr. Ed Martin, many of you have professional skills that you'd like to share. We'd love to hear from you!
