Shelter Housing
Safe housing for those beginning the road to recovery.
Our Recovery-based Shelter Housing for individual men and women serve over 200 people a year. 85% successfully complete, gain sustainable income and move out of homelessness into housing.
While enrolled in this 90-day program, guests work with their Case Manager to create an individualized Case Plan, set goals, and address other physical, mental, and behavioral health issues. With recovery as the center of this program, many are able to address their Substance Use Disorder and achieve long-term sobriety for the first time in their adult lives.
After completing our recovery-based shelter program, many continue their path toward stability by living with Amos House in one of our 12 residential buildings. Our recidivism rate of only 10% is dramatically lower than the state or national average because of our strong community.
